Our Story
Born from hands,
built for community.
Yomo Studios began with a single pour of resin,and a simple question: what if art wasn't just something you admired, but something you could create yourself? What began as a creative escape became a studio built around the joy of making. Founded by Omoyemi Kuteyi, Yomo Studios has evolved from resin works into an ever-growing exploration of materials and techniques—from cement and gypsum to batik and dye-resist art.
But Yomo is about more than what we make. It is about making art feel accessible, playful, and welcoming. We create spaces where you can try something new, learn with your hands, and make something you're proud of—whether you're an experienced maker or have never considered yourself “artistic.”
Today, Yomo is a Lagos-based creative studio and community where making brings people together. Our pieces, workshops, and experiments are all part of the same idea:

Our workshops bring together curious minds, seasoned creatives, and complete beginners to make, experiment, learn, and laugh together. You don't need to be an artist or even know what you're doing, you just need to be curious enough to try.
From painting and pouring to working with cement, gypsum, and textiles, every workshop is an invitation to get your hands dirty and make something of your own.
